With two albums to their name, Director are at the forefront of the new wave of Irish guitar bands making a name for themselves at home and abroad. Their debut record We Thrive On Big Cities went platinum in Ireland and was nominated for the Choice Music Prize, while follow up I’ll Wait For Sound saw them hone a harder sound with the help of US producer Brad Wood.
